At Seniors Helping Seniors® Treasure Coast, we have a passion for meeting the needs of seniors in a way that provides both dignity and a sense of camaraderie. Our owner(s) Tammy Sudler, Tony Sudler firmly believe we can do that through serving seniors in our community, which includes: Vero Beach, Fort Pierce and Port St. Lucie and Sebastian.
Owners, Tammy and Tony Sudler, have spent the majority of their lives engaged with older generations. Tammy was raised by her grandma, Bea, who was her best friend. Bea had given Tammy a good life, unconditional love, and a safe home. By Tammy’s early 20’s her grandma experienced mini strokes and in a few short years she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease. It was Tammy’s turn to give her grandma all the gifts she had been given as a child. She welcomed her grandma into her home and cared for her until she was called home. During the midst of caregiving, Tammy made it her personal mission to do all she could for people living with Alzheimer’s and to help other families learn to stop and enjoy the moments. Tammy got involved with the Alzheimer’s Association as a recipient of services then as a staff member for more than eight years.
Her grandma taught her about giving back to others, taking care of those in the community, and appreciating the gift of life. It is these guiding principles that Tammy lives by and what has led her to join her husband in owning Seniors Helping Seniors® Treasure Coast . Her grandma told her she needed to “keep helping others” and this company allows her to do just that. The same love and care she provided to her grandma is what she wants every person to experience.
Tony spent the majority of his professional career as CEO & President of the Alzheimer’s Association of Washington, D.C. area. He worked with thousands of families and people with Alzheimer’s and other related dementias during his fifteen years with the Association. During his tenure, he worked to ensure the families had the resources they needed and that his staff provided compassion, understanding, and most importantly the tools needed to be the best advocates for their loved ones. He raised millions of dollars for Alzheimer’s research. The knowledge he had helped him to cope and support his family as his grandfather, who was a guiding role model for Tony, was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Today, he supports his aging parents who live out of state. He understands the stress and uncertainty of being an adult child, living states away, and not knowing all the day to day struggles his parents face. His goal is to ease the uncertainty the adult children or a spouse has. Tony ensures that anyone providing support in the home is educated and can provide the care he would want for his own parents.
Aging and health challenges are stressful enough…let Seniors Helping Seniors® Treasure Coast take on some of the stress so you can enjoy the moments. With more than 30 years of combined social service and aging experience, Tammy and Tony will assure your mom, dad, sibling, spouse, or someone you love will be cared for just as their greatest treasures were.
