At Seniors Helping Seniors® Treasure Coast, we have a passion for meeting the needs of seniors in a way that provides both dignity and a sense of camaraderie. Our owner Christina Viamontes firmly believe we can do that through serving seniors in our community, which includes: Vero Beach, Fort Pierce and Port St. Lucie and Sebastian.

As a nurse of 20 years, Christina earned her Associates of Science Degree from the University of North Florida, her Bachelors of Science in Nursing Degree from the University of Central Florida, and a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership and Management also from the University of Central Florida.

Of her 20 years in nursing, she has spent the last 16 years in home health. She began her home health career as a field nurse for a large local home health agency and eventually worked her way up to Director of Nursing while gaining experience in home health, hospice, and private duty care. Since leaving that position, she has spent the last several years as Director of Nursing, charged with launching and growing the Medicare line of business for a local agency that primarily specialized in medically fragile pediatric Medicaid patients. She is a servant leader whose core values are compassion, kindness, gratitude, and respect for clients, families, and caregivers.

Christina grew up in Sebastian (go Sharks!) and is married to Michael, a Vero Beach native (go Indians!). They are thrilled to be raising their four children in their beautiful hometown. With close ties to the community, you will often find them busy coaching Little League and flag football and cheering on their daughter's competitive volleyball team. Christina is grateful for the opportunity to be of service to seniors on the Treasure Coast through her leadership of Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home services.

Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home services match seniors who need a little help with seniors who want to help. Peer-to-peer care makes it easier for receivers to have trust in and relate to seniors providing care.

About Our Founders

Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home care service was co-founded by Kiran and Philip Yocom in order to realize Kiran’s personal mission of providing care for those who can’t care for themselves. Before coming to the United States from India, Kiran worked with Mother Teresa for 14 years.

How We've Grown

From our roots in Pennsylvania, and our first match in 1998, Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home services has grown to include hundreds of locations in the US and Internationally. We continue to grow and evolve, adding new services to better assist seniors and refining our caregiver training as new industry best practices come to light.
